We do have some outdoor tables, most of which are covered, which are available on a first come, first served basis. We are not able to pre-reserve outdoor tables. We tend to have more tables available over lunch!
One of Exmoor's most unique bar and restaurants, The Ancient Mariner hosts an eclectic mix of maritime memorabilia - we're the only pub that can boast a full size torpedo as well as an octopus sculpture made by a local artist. Our exceptionally well stocked bar provides unrivaled choice of both locally sourced spirits, ales, lagers and wines and international favourites. We are dog friendly, family friendly, have free Wifi for customers AND charging points. You lucky ducks.

LOVE LOCAL
Our remote location on Exmoor means that we LOVE local. In summer, we get veggies and flowers from local allotments and always use local suppliers. We've got local craft beer and cider, as well as local gin, rum and lager. We run regular events (*normally!), have a locals discount card and support local groups and clubs.
Get your thinking caps on; fancy dress Halloween B Movies is here! Pick a hilarious horror film (See The Mangle; Sharknado; Plan 9 From Outer Space etc) come and enjoy a delicious set menu, and cocktails, in a great setting - who else can have Halloween dinner with the Kraken bursting out of the wall?!
